About us
We help connect veterans to VSOs and streamline their claims process with automated workflows and agentic assistance—guided step by step and backed by real accredited representatives.
Why we exist
Millions of veterans are entitled to disability benefits they never receive. The paperwork is unfamiliar, the standards are technical, and the people best equipped to help — accredited Veterans Service Officers — are stretched across far more veterans than they can sit down with. Too many claims are filed late, filed thin, or never filed at all.
We built this service to close that gap: software does the patient, methodical preparation, so that when a veteran meets their representative, the time goes to judgment and advocacy instead of paperwork.
What we do
- Guide, one step at a time. A veteran works through their claim in plain language — service history, conditions, and the documents that support them — without needing to know a single form number.
- Get the record in order. We help gather what exists, organize it, and make what's missing explicit instead of hidden.
- Prepare, not file. The result is a well-prepared claim package. Filing and representation stay where they belong — with a real, accredited Veterans Service Officer who reviews everything and acts on the veteran's behalf.
What we believe
- People decide, software prepares. An accredited human representative is in the loop on every claim. When something needs judgment, it goes to a person — every time.
- Honesty over hype. If the evidence is weak, we say so. A well-founded claim filed once beats a rushed claim filed twice.
- Ask once. A veteran should never have to repeat their story to a system that already heard it.
- Privacy is the product. Records are encrypted, access is logged, and nothing is ever sold or used for marketing.
Who we work with
We're currently running a closed pilot in partnership with the Georgia Department of Veterans Service, whose accredited staff review and represent every claim prepared through the platform. Participation is by invitation, which is why the application itself requires sign-in. This page, our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and SMS Terms are public.
Who we are
The service is operated by Shire Vets, an independent business based in Los Altos Hills, California. We're a small team that believes veterans earned these benefits, and that getting them shouldn't require becoming an expert in federal regulation.
Text messages
With their consent, account holders receive transactional texts only — appointment reminders and updates about their own claim. No marketing, ever. The full program disclosure is in our SMS Terms; reply STOP to any message to opt out.
